　　1. neither ... nor... 既不……也不……

　　He is an orphan, and he has neither friends nor relatives.

　　他是个孤儿，既没有朋友也没有亲戚。

　　2. next to 紧邻；相邻；旁边

　　1）We sat next to each other.

　　我们紧挨着坐在一起。

　　2）A weird strange is sitting next to me, which makes me sick.

　　一个奇怪的陌生人坐在我旁边，这让我感觉不太舒适。

　　3. no longer 不再（同义not... any longer）

　　He was so sad that he could no longer hold back his tears.

　　4. not at all 一点也不；别客气

　　1）'After you.' — 'Not at all, you first.'

　　5. not only ... but also... 不但……而且……（省略号部分填写相同的词性，比如形容词、动词、名词等，二者成分对比而言，更看重后者）

　　2）As for our products, we pursue not only quantity but also quality. （省略号部分为名词）

　　6. not so + 形容词/副词 + as 不如……那么，不像……那么，并非……那么……

　　1）It is not so easy as you thought. 并非你想的那么容易。

　　2）She is not so hot as her elder sister. 她没有她姐姐那么性感。

　　7. not... until 直到……才

　　1）The child didn't go to bed until his father returned.

　　孩子直到父亲回来，才上床睡觉。

　　2）It was not until then that I noticed the boy could see nothing.
