　　What I want to share with those students is Chinese culture, including traditional Chinese festivals, such as the Spring Festival and the Mid-Autumn Day. These are as important as the Christmas Day in western countries and can show the traditional culture with Chinese characteristics. In addition, I would like to introduce to them the Chinese cuisine, which many people all over the world are fascinated with. 　　The pie chart above evidently illustrates the several factors affecting consumers' choices of restaurants in a certain city in 2007. According to the chart, feature is the most valued factor, reaching 36.3%. Quality of service and dining environment account for 26.8% and 24.2% respectively. By contrast, price only takes up8%.

　　It is evident that people nowadays attach more importance to other factors than price when choosing a place for dinner. There are many reasons contributing to the phenomenon, and here are the significant ones. First and foremost, with the living standards of the Chinese getting higher and higher, people do not care so much about the price as they did before.

　　Secondly, the catering industry is booming in recent years. If a restaurant is determined to stand out in the fierce competition, it must have its features and specialties, which can attract most of the consumers. Besides, good service and pleasant dinning environment are also highly appreciated because people can better enjoy a meal and relax themselves with these external factors.

　　To sum up, when money is no longer the most important factor that influences consumers' choices, they are likely to lay more emphasis on what can bring them better feelings and experiences. Therefore it is predictable that those restaurants with satisfying service, distinctive features and comfortable environment will be popular with more customers in the years ahead.
