　　中国人的数学到底有多厉害？一起看看歪果仁的花样彩虹屁在国外问答平台 Quora 中，输入 “Chinese Math” 关键词，“Why are Chinese people so good at math?” “What makes Chinese math lessons so good?” 等提问跃入眼帘，无不散发出对中国人数学酸酸的羡慕嫉妒恨。不仅如此，不知道大家是否记得2015年8月BBC推出的那部纪录片：Are Our Kids Tough Enough? Chinese School（《中国老师来了》），记录了中国老师在英国的中学进行授课，与英式教育来了一场为期四周的对决。这部纪录片引起了很多人的讨论，当时《卫报》在正式播出前还发表了新闻称，上海的老师将“数学的艺术”带入了英国课堂！当时的乘法口诀就让英国的老师和同学们震惊了一把，于是他们把“九九乘法表”，扩充到“十二乘以十二”，更适应本国的十二进制。The times tables up to 12, is believed to be more suitable than the Chinese version which goes up to 9, since the duodecimal system is widely adopted in the UK.英国人认为，这套12*12的口算乘法表测试比中国的九九乘法表更适合英国学生，因为该国广泛采用十二进制系统。
