　　端午节是我国的传统节日，过端午节是为了纪念爱国诗人屈原。

　　端午节在我国每年农历的五月初五。传说，在五月初五这天，屈原得知楚国被秦国打败后，他心想：我连国都没有了，活着还有什么用呢？于是，屈原跳进汨罗江里而死了。

　　五月初五端午节。

　　一大早，我就被院子里散发的阵阵粽叶清香唤醒，我猜一定是奶奶在院子里包粽子。我跑到院子里看到奶奶果然在包粽子。我高兴坏了一蹦三尺高，因为我可想粽子了。

　　Early in the morning, I was awakened by the fragrance of rice dumplings in the yard. I guess it must be grandma who made rice dumplings in the yard. I ran to the yard and saw grandma making zongzi. I was so happy that I jumped three feet high because I wanted to make rice dumplings.

　　我撸起袖子正准备包粽子，奶奶拍了我的手，笑眯眯地说：“包粽子前先要把手洗干净。”我飞快地跑进厕所三下两下就把手洗完了，又拿来一个小板凳坐着和奶奶学习包粽子。

　　奶奶告诉我包粽子有很多技巧。

　　吃完粽子我们来到河边，只见河边已经围满了看热闹的人群，我们穿过人群，看到河面上停着各式各样的龙舟，龙舟上有划船手、鼓手，都憋着一口气要争第一。

　　突然一声哨响，几条龙舟像离弦的箭一样迅速划出，你争我夺、互不相让，最终一直领先的黄队获胜。

　　端午节我不仅学会了包粽子，还观赏了龙舟比赛，在玩耍的同时学会了一项技能，我觉得特别开心、收获满满。
