The Montessori Method of education, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, is a knowledge-rich, child-centered educational approach. This century-old approach values the development of the whole child—physical, social, emotional and cognitive. The Montessori guide has many tools in her toolkit for creating engagement. Today we will discuss freedom with limits, positive discipline, choice, the art of the presentation, and more.

Consistency through routines
日常活动的关键因素，例如不被打扰的工作时间段和处理工作过渡的方法，都是重要的班级管理技巧和工具。我们会探讨、演示和练习如何打造一个具备良好优雅和礼仪的蒙氏环境。
Key elements of the daily routine—such as the uninterrupted work period, and how to manage important transitions—are important classroom management techniques and also pedagogical tools. We discuss, workshop, and practice implementing a graceful, courteous Montessori environment.

打造团队
Creating a team
班级是由主教、助教、生活老师，甚至包括家长和学校领导组成的团队来管理的。今天我们会探讨和研习团队成员之间如何进行合理分工和有效的沟通。
Early childhood classrooms are operated by small teams: the lead teacher, assistant and junior teachers, and even parents and school leaders. This day addresses how to create a strategic division of labor in a classroom, and workshops strategies for how to talk to foster communication amongst a classroom’s adults.

Starting a new classroom
班级管理最难的是最初的阶段。今天我们会探讨开学第一周的班级管理方法，包括如何灵活调整蒙氏日常活动，如何处理不可避免的（正常的）幼儿分离焦虑症。
The most challenging phase of a classroom is its inception. This day addresses classroom management strategies during the first weeks of school, and covers topics such as how to temporarily modify normal Montessori routines, and how to manage the inevitable (and healthy) separation anxiety of young children.

本工作坊将通过讲座，练习、小组讨论、视频和互动游戏等多种形式让您了解并体验班级管理的理论与实践，从而能够真正地应用到实际工作当中去。讲师们用英文授课，期间配有中文交替翻译。
The workshop will help you understand the theory and practice of classroom management through lectures, exercises, group discussions, videos, and interactive games, so that it can be applied to your real work. The workshops are taught in English with Chinese translation.

按要求完成课程后，可获得由美国The Prepared Montessorian颁发的专业蒙氏课程证书。
Upon completion of all required courses, the trainee will be awarded the certificate of course of completion issued by The Prepared Montessorian of United States.

孩子一出生，就踏上了独立的征途。我们通过讨论儿童的天性来展开这次工作坊。儿童如何学习，他们需要什么来发展思维，以及在家中可以做些什么来促进他们蓬勃地发展。学习观察、培养和从孩子身上学习的简单实用的蒙台梭利教育方法。
Children, from birth, are on a path towards independence. We start the workshop by discussing the nature of the child—how children learn, what they need to develop their minds, and what you can do at home to help them flourish. Learn about simple, practical Montessori ideas that can be applied to observe, learn from, and nurture your child.
设定边界：正面管教方法（3小时）
Setting Limits: The Positive Discipline Approach (3 hours.)
在这个互动环节中，我们将开始学习如何创建一致的边界，以帮助孩子理解家庭的指导和期望。我们将学习如何与孩子一起相处，培养其内在的心理指导，而不是外在的强制性地遵守纪律，这种内在的指导将会成为贯穿孩子一生的指南针 - 即使您不在他身边时也是如此。 每个家庭都是独特不同的，有各自的价值观和习俗; 因为我们认识到了这一点，我们将为您提供“食材”，以便您在工作坊结束时，能够以自己独特的“烹饪秘诀”，在家中成功地实施正面管教。
In this interactive session, we will start by learning how to create consistent boundaries that will help the child understand the expectations and guidelines of the family. Rather than imposing discipline, learn how to work with your child to develop an inner guide that will serve as a compass throughout life—even when you are not around. Every family is different and has their own particular set of values and routines; because we recognize this, we will provide you with the “ingredients” so you can walk out of this workshop with your unique “recipe” for a successful discipline approach that works in your own home.

作为家长，我们犯的最大错误之一是我们认为要不断地取悦孩子，有时甚至会用华丽且昂贵的玩具来达到这种目的。玛丽亚蒙台梭利博士认识到人类有工作和活动的需求，她曾写道“手是人类智慧的源泉”的名句。 在这个环节中，我们将共同探讨如何把日常家庭生活中易于实行的动手操作活动和培养孩子各项能力相结合，以提升孩子的创造性、适应性、好奇心、想象力、批判性思维和解决问题等等21世纪必备的技能。
One of the biggest mistakes we make as parents is to believe that we need to constantly entertain our children, sometimes with flashy and expensive toys that do all the work for them. Maria Montessori recognized the need for work and activity, writing that “the hand is the instrument of man’s intelligence”. In this session we will discover together how to incorporate in our daily family routine hands-on, easy-to-implement activities that promote critical thinking, problem solving, initiative, adaptability, curiosity, imagination and more—all skills that are necessary in the twenty-first century.
