　　3月12日是一年一度的植树节，30多年来，“植树造林，绿化祖国”已成为一项全民参与的公益活动。

　　图书馆是文明之圣地，知识之殿堂。书是传承人类文明的使者，人类社会的进步和发展离不开读书，几乎每个人的大学生涯都曾在这里驻足，文明阅读行为既体现了您的自身修养，又包含了对他人的关照和尊重。

　　为让同学们共同拥有一个温馨的'学习环境，在第二十个世界读书日来临之际，图书馆向全体读者发出以下倡议：

　　1、自觉遵守图书馆规章制度、排队入馆，爱护图书及馆内公共设施，尊重工作人员劳动，不随意丢放图书;

　　2、在馆学习时，将手机设为震动和静音状态，不大声喧哗，不发声朗读，尽量轻走慢行，为自己和他人营造安静的学习环境;

　　3、在座椅上休息或阅览图书时，不抢座、不占座、不吃东西、不喝有色饮料、不乱扔垃圾，保持馆内环境卫生;

　　4、在图书馆的任何一角，均能保持良好的行为，文明用语，相互监督，相互提高。

　　四月，“卉木繁荣，和风清穆”，是一年当中最活跃、最美好的月份之一。在这个美好的月份里有一个特别美好的节日――世界读书日。1995年，联合国教科文组织宣布4月23日为“世界读书日”。很多国家在这几天内都会以各种方式举办庆祝活动，以示提倡和重视。这样美好的节日，我们焉能错过？

　　古人说：“书中自有黄金屋，书中自有颜如玉”，也并非仅仅是读书人的臆想。读书不一定能改变生命的长度，但一定可以改变人生的宽度和深度；读书不一定能改变你的相貌，但一定可以改变你的气质；读书不一定能马上给你带来好运和财富，但必将助你获得好运和财富。

　　我们现在的阅读状况如何呢？据齐鲁工业大学20xx年大学生课外阅读状况调查显示，大学生每年阅读纸质图书（课本、期刊除外）的数量，有85%左右在0-10本之间。而每天的课外阅读（纸质）时间，有81%的学生没超过2小时。值得注意的.是，有80%以上的大学生认为，对他们进行课外阅读形成最大困扰的问题是：没有时间！大学生应该是最有时间、最方便进行课外阅读的群体之一了，说没有时间，除了学业负担的影响，更主要的，恐怕不是真心想去阅读吧。

　　“德随量进，量由识长。”这个“识”，有两个重要的来源，一是人生的阅历，通过生活的实践、思考，来学习如何识人、处事、观景、辨物等等；另一个就是通过读书，来弥补生活圈子狭窄所造成的不足，坐拥天地风景，神交千古胜友，品鉴明师精华，知晓古今兴衰。

　　简单点说，读书可以让我们在似是而非面前，眼睛更明亮一些，能够见微知著，入木三分；读书可以让我们在迷茫无措的时候，随手翻阅前人的心血之作，免费受教；读书可以让我们在孤独苦闷的时候，看到自己不是一个人；或者，在光阴走得特别慢的时候，能够在书中“乐以忘忧，不知老之将至”。

　　然而，具体还得看你读什么，怎么读。

　　读书不在多少，在于我们是否能闻道则勤而行之。“半部论语治天下”说的也是类似的道理。不过，读书广泛总是有好处的，起码不会见识浅薄，趣味低俗，谈吐乏味，人生无聊。至少，在读书的时候，你就没空为鸡毛蒜皮的小事而烦恼了。

　　一个人在书籍的密林里散步，是很容易迷路的。你也可能在读书中浪费了人生有限的光阴，却看不到心中的风景。读书久了，也可能会疲惫懈怠，甚至放弃。这时候，我们都会十分需要明师指点或者朋友助力。

　　在此，我们诚挚地向全校师生发出倡议：
