　　大家可能都听过“狐狸吃不到葡萄说葡萄酸”的故事，下面请一起欣赏五年级三班梁希正为大家带来这个精彩的英文绘本故事吧！

　　THE FOX AND THE GRAPES

　　One day , a hungry fox is looking for food . He looks everywhere , but does not find anything .

　　He then smells grapes .There are bunches of grapes ; all of them look ripe and very tasty .

　　“ The grapes must be very tasty ,” thinks the fox .

　　“ I will have a big feast today .”So , the fox jumps at a bunch of grapes . But the grapes are so high that he does not even touch them .Because he jumps so high , he comes back to the ground in a bad fall .The fall hurts him badly .“ Damn !” he curses .But he is not going to give up , so he jumps again and again .But he does not get a single bunch . Small animals like rabbits and squirrels come to see the fox jump .

　　“ come to look at the fox ,” says one rabbit to the squirrels .

　　“ Another bad fall ,” says one squirrel . Every time the fox has a bad fall , the small animals begin to laugh .

　　“ what are you laughing at ?” says the fox angrily .“ Nothing ,” says the rabbit .But he cannot help laughing .“ Stop laughing !” says the fox to the small animals .But their laughter becomes giggles .

　　The fox is about to give up . But he must think of a reason to tell the small animals .

　　He quickly thinks of one good reason .“ Listen , you little fools !” he says to the small animals .“ I don ’ t want the grapes anymore .”

　　“ But why not ?” the rabbits and squirrels ask .

　　“ Because the grapes are not ripe enough ,” says the fox .“ They must taste very sour ,” the fox adds .But his words make the small animals have an even bigger laugh .

　　The fox cannot think of any other reason , so he leaves .
