　　关于【take off】

　　take off 一词的意思本来是指“(飞机)起飞”，但是，在口语中经常表示“离开”的意思，口语中也可用 be off。

　　比如：

　　1. I am gonna take off . ( 我得走了。）

　　2. You are off now．I gotta take off as well．So maybe we can leave here together．(你要走了吗?正好我也得离开了。或许我们可以一起离开这。)

　　3. Take yourself off right now! (你给我马上走人!)

　　表示要走的说法还可以有：

　　I really gotta go．See you around．(我真的得走了。回头见!)

　　Bye for now．／Catch you soon! (再见!)

　　I'd better be off．Take care! (我得告辞了。保重!)

　　So long! Remember to drop me a line at your convenience．(再见! 记得在你方便的时候写信给我。)

　　此外，take off 还指“起飞”。

　　如：If an aircraft，bird or insect takes off．it leaves the ground and begins to fly．

　　take off 当然还可以表示“脱掉、拿开”的意思。

　　例如：During the intervals between classes，many students like to take off their shoes and chase each other on the grass or just walk around the campus to have a short break as if it is really a great way to relax.

　　(课间的时候，许多学生都喜欢脱掉他们的鞋子，在草地上打闹，或者在校园中溜达溜达休息一下，好像这就是一种非常好的放松方式。)

　　Take off your coat and stay for a while．(把外套脱掉，待上一会儿。)
