ABSTRACT
For animation works，antagonists play a key role in strengthening tension of works and driving development of plots． Especially in the contemporary society advocating rationality and competence，cool and strong antagoni st s even become one of the selling points．So，creators input more energy for shaping
the image of antagonists deeply and carefully．But shaping antagonists of animation at present has not been studied systemically or theoretically．So，the research on‘hntagonists of animation works”has urgent practical significance．
Targeted at the current situation，this paper combined literature analysis with empirical studies， comparative analysis with normative analysis to do a series of analysis and research on antagoni sts of animat ion works and propose a set of‘‘one point and three surfaces’。method to shape the images of antagonists based on research on value of‘‘antagonists’’ of animation works．By longitudinal comparison of antagonists in the new and old stages and horizontal comparison of different
types of antagonists， antagonists were found to be signification of darkness feared by human beings．The empathy

and project ion of the fear are interpreted in prototype theory of Jung，based on which we can find out corresponding prototypes of antagonists in practical life．The summary on features of prototype can make US work out basic properties and features of antagonists．This means‘‘one point’’．‘‘Three surfaces’’ refer to appearance，decoration and behaviors which reflect the features of roles best．In shaping antagonists，firstly work out core features of roles and shape them specifically in appearance，decorat ion and behaviors．
