本文所述童书适合的孩子阅读。
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry，安托万·德·圣·埃克苏佩里（1900年6月29日——1944年7月31日），法国作家。
他一生喜欢冒险和自由，是一位将生命奉献给法国航空事业的飞行家。他曾在法国空军服役，后服务于航空公司期间，开辟了多条新的飞行航道，孜孜不倦地完成飞行任务。二战期间应征入伍，后又辗转侨居美国，1944年归国重回部队。同年7月，他在一次飞行任务中失踪，成为一则神秘传奇。
其主要作品包括《南方邮件》《夜航》《人类的大地》《云上的日子》《空军飞行员》等。
The Little Prince（《小王子》）可谓家喻户晓，曾被改编为电影。本书共有27章，。
“我”小时候曾对画画感兴趣，但这个兴趣很快就被大人扼杀。长大后“我”成为一名飞行员。某次飞机失事，迫降撒哈拉沙漠，“我”遇到一位小王子。他来自B-612号小行星，他的星球很小，一天可以看44次日落。
小王子的星球上有朵骄傲的玫瑰花，他和玫瑰花闹脾气之后就离开自己的星球，开始了一段旅行。旅途中他遇见形形色色的人物，最后来到地球。
在地球上，小王子结识了一只狐狸。狐狸要求他“驯养”它，这样他们就建立了关系。狐狸教给小王子一个道理：只有用心，才能看得清楚；。
“我”遇到小王子后，听他讲述他的故事。后来“我”和小王子在沙漠中寻找到了水井，他也回到了自己的星球。小王子临走时对“我”说：“”
整个故事里我比较喜欢下面几段话。
If some one loves a flower, of which just one single blossom grows in all the millions and millions of stars,?it is enough to make him happy just to look at the stars. He can say?to himself, “Somewhere, my flower is there...”
But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world.
But if you tame me, it will be as if the sun came to shine on my life . I shall know the sound of a step that will be different from all the others. Other steps send me hurrying back underneath the ground. Yours will call me, like music, out of my burrow. And then look: you see the grain fields down yonder? I do not eat bread. Wheat is of no use to me. The wheat fields have nothing to say to me. And that is sad. But you have hair that is the colour of gold. Think how wonderful that will be when you have tamed me! The grain,?which is also golden, will bring me back the thought of you. And I shall love to listen to the wind in the wheat...
It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;?what is essential is invisible to the eye.
