　　中国日报起底工作室近期梳理美国近年来在中国周边的军事部署，在其系列纪录片《被误解的崛起》播出的第三集《恐慌之源》中透露，美国地图公司曾明确标记南沙群岛属于中国。

　　为探明军事的具体动向，中国日报起底工作室来到紧张局势不断上升的中国南海。中国南海研究院创始院长吴士存带领起底工作室查看美国兰德·麦克纳利公司1992年出版的世界地图册。

　　在该世界地图册中，“南沙群岛”被标记为“Nansha Island (China)”，直译过来即“中国的南沙群岛”。此外，当时地图上还明确标注“南海诸岛归广东省管辖”，这些都是毋庸置疑的历史事实。

　　报道称，当今的美国政府意欲篡改历史叙事，来满足其“围堵中国”的地缘政治企图，维系自身的霸权。
