facing和faced with的区别
facing是动词的现在分词形式,也是属于动词,在英语中没有facing with这个短语;而faced已经形容词化,是形容词,faced with是固定搭配,faced with一般用在句首;在英语中,我们经常用face来表示“正视”、“面对”、“接受”;
eg:I will face the challenge without any hesitation.
我要毫不犹豫地面对挑战;
在这里,我们发现,face表示主动面对或者接受一些不愉快的事情或结果;
但是face sb. with sth. 或者 be faced with sth. 却表示“被迫面临...或者接受”;
eg:Faced with the financial crisis, many companies had to declare bankruptcy.
面临着金融危机,很多公司不得不宣布破产。
其实如果不是从专业的角度讲的话,Faced with = Facing 。
两个都是非谓语动词,都表示面临,不要深琢磨语法,单纯的从语句意思就可以判断了.
